MEMBER DRIVEN GOVERNANCE

The governance structure of LSN is exceptionally effective because it is member driven.  It is compromised of three major areas:  a corporate board, cabinets and districts.  Cabinets represent each LSN member type and set program and public policy goals, provide support and guidance to meet these goals - achieving results in their specialty areas.  LSN’s six industry cabinets represent the following member types:

• Assisted Living Cabinet
• CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) Cabinet
• Home & Community Based Services Cabinet
• Housing Cabinet
• Nursing Facilities Cabinet
• Supportive Living Cabinet

Districts are defined geographically, and allow for member involvement in LSN on a local level.  Cabinets and Districts are represented on the LSN Corporate Board of Directors by their elected leader.
