With the constant changes in regulations, reimbursement, research and best practices, LSN responds with just-in-time, in-depth, interactive educational workshops and seminars. Educational workshops and seminars are planned both throughout the year and throughout the state to provide members with current information and knowledge regarding emerging issues and concerns with practical, real-life solutions. In recent years, the audio seminar has become an increasingly popular format among LSN members for its efficient, cost effective means of educating numerous staff without ever having to leave the workplace. Additionally, LSN sponsors specialized conferences such as the annual Senior Living Conference and the Workplace Solutions Symposium that address issues and topics relevant to a particular segment of the aging services field. Other educational conferences are developed in response to needs identified by our membership. |
